BT-542D is a bit-bus mastering PC/AT Fast SCSI host adapter. Designed forhigh performance, multi-tasking environment, it provides up to 10 MBytesper second DMA data transfers, 10 MBytes per second synchronous, and 7MBytes per second asynchronous SCSI data transfers. Capable of processingto 255 tasks simultaneously with a minimum of host process interventionand handles scatter-gather data transfers of over 8 non-contiguousdata segments. Implementation of differential termination allows forclearer signals over the longest distances possible. It works with a fullrange of operating systems, as well as SCSI-1 and SCSI-2 devices.
